With the help of Soros Fund Management LLC, he does numerous charitable activities. His donations currently exceed $ 8 billion, which has been used to support organizations of charities, studies, and health, too.
2 # Harry Houdini, by his birth name Weis Erik, is well-known as the most outstanding illusionist, a “magician” according to some prominent books. He took his name from the formerly famous Jean Robert-Houdin, who had a great influence on his later work. He caught people’s eye to the fact that he could easily get out of any padlock, lock, prison made of steel or iron. He has tried to gain success in more fields of life as being an actor, director or world-traveler, explorer, but has been less successful in these areas, despite being among the first people to fly by airplane to Australia. 3 # Palvin Barbara, 19, supermodel has Hungarian descent who has made her debut as the newest discovered of L’Oreal Paris and has been registered as the newest member of the L’Oreal Paris family among some other iconic figures like Gwen Stefanni or Claudia Schiffer. In 2012, she became the angel of the Victoria Secret, bringing her career to the next level by becoming one of the most wanted lingerie models. We have seen her in magazines such as Vouge, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and on movie screens like in Hercules. She is currently marked as the 40 on the list of 50 model.com.
4 # Ernő Rubik, as the inventor of the most successful game in the world, was a Hungarian professor who taught architecture to his students and he created a cube with different colored and rotatable sides just in order to help make the lesson more playful. In the time of communist Hungary, his invention got many rejections, many toy companies did not see the potential in it. As it crossed the border, it immediately became the most famous game in the World. In 1990, he became the president of the Hungarian Academy of Engineering. Since 1980, he won the “Game of the Year” award 3 times in several different countries.
5 # Mickey Hargitay, known as the most famous Hungarian bodybuilder, is a Hollywood actor who has been seen in films like The Loves of Hercules, Promises! and so many outstanding productions. In his childhood he was forced to leave Hungary due to the Nazi occupation and began bodybuilding and was awarded the National American Bodybuilding Award. Moreover, in 1955 he became Mr. Universe. Previously he gained success in free fight combat sport and football. Even he did athletic thanks to his parents.
